Below you can find the minutes of each business meeting held at the directors' conferences of the network.
Founding Conference 2010
From 25th–28th October 2010, the Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies (FRIAS) hosted the world’s first conference of University-based Institutes for Advanced Study (UBIAS). By popular request, the results were recently collected in a brochure. The conference proceedings include a written version of the opening remarks as well as a summary of the main topics and questions that were discussed in the working sessions.

2nd UBIAS Directors' Conference
From 4th–6th March 2013, the Israel Institute for Advanced Study in Jerusalem hosted the 2nd UBIAS Directors' Conference.
3rd UBIAS Directors' Conference
From 27th–30th November 2014, the Institute for Advanced Studies in Humanities and Social Sciences at the National Taiwan University hosted the 3rd UBIAS Directors' Conference.
4th UBIAS Directors' Conference
From 19th–23th March 2016, the University of Birmingham's Institute of Advanced Studies hosted the 4th UBIAS Directors' Conference.
5th UBIAS Directors' Conference
From 19th–23th March 2018, the Institute of Advanced Studies at the University of São Paulo hosted the 5th UBIAS Directors' Conference.
UBIAS Directors' Pre-Conference
From 12th–14th October 2020, the Institute of Advanced Studies at the University of São Paulo virtually hosted the UBIAS Directors' Pre-Conference.
6th UBIAS Directors' Pre-Conference
From 12th–14th April 2021, the Institute of Advanced Studies at Aix-Marseille University virtually hosted the 6th UBIAS Directors' Conference.
