This international symposium brings together members of the Lancet Commission on Gun Violence and Global Health, researchers, policymakers, and global civil society leaders to deliberate on evidence-based, multisectoral strategies to combat armed violence.

Utilizing a public health framework, the event centers on data surveillance, the epidemiological ramifications for vulnerable populations, and institutional mechanisms for accountability and statutory reform.
