WIAS Visiting Fellows 2013

WIAS invites applicants for Visiting Fellows. The Waseda Institute for Advanced Study (WIAS) is committed to promoting the university-wide acceptance of leading researchers from other countries as well as to facilitating the production of research results, scholarly exchange with researchers at Waseda, and other such outcomes.

WIAS invites applicants for Visiting Fellows. This program is designed to accept recognized researchers who are doing work at the cutting edge of their field and to support researchers who wish to spend a certain period in residence at WIAS pursuing their own research during holidays or other leave from their home institutions. The Fellows will be provided an excellent environment for conducting their research and will also be expected to contribute to the research activity of Waseda University.

WIAS was established in 2006 and its primary missions are to enhance scholarly excellence in the humanities and social and natural sciences and to encourage dialogue between disciplines. Since its establishment, WIAS has promoted both interdisciplinary and international interactions by recruiting young researchers as junior research fellows and inviting distinguished researchers as Visiting Fellows from all over the world.
