Call for Applications: JNIAS Fellowships

The JNIAS invites applications from mid and senior level scholars for fellowships beginning in January 2015.

Fellows can join the JNIAS for a period ranging from 2-6 months. Fellowships include a fully furnished studio apartment and shared working space. The Institute tries to cover economy air fare and a modest honorarium. Individuals having their own funding are also encouraged to apply. Fellows are expected to contribute to the Institute’s colloquium and deliver a couple of lectures in the University. If interested, they can also participate in teaching some course.

Fellowships are open across all fields of the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences. Please see University website for the academic disciplines here. In the case of Natural sciences, it is better if the applicant has established contact with the University faculty as separate lab facilities cannot be offered by the Institute.
