Call for Applications: EURIAS Fellowship Programme 2016/2017
The European Institutes for Advanced Study (EURIAS) Fellowship Programme is an international researcher mobility programme offering 10-month residencies in one of the 16 participating Institutes: Berlin, Bologna, Brussels, Budapest, Cambridge, Delmenhorst, Freiburg, Helsinki, Jerusalem, Lyon, Marseille, Paris, Uppsala, Vienna, Wassenaar, Zürich. The Institutes for Advanced Study support the focused, self-directed work of outstanding researchers. The fellows benefit from the finest intellectual and research conditions and from the stimulating environment of a multi-disciplinary and international community of first-rate scholars.
International Visiting Research Scholar Award - Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies
The Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies is offering 12 research awards of $10,000 to bring some of the world’s best scholars to UBC. This initiative allows the Institute to partner with UBC faculties, departments and research centres to attract outstanding scholars to work collaboratively with UBC faculty members on innovative research. The International Visiting Research Scholar will visit during the 2014-2015 academic year.
FRIAS COFUND Fellowship Programme (FCFP)
The Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies calls for applications for individual Junior and Senior FCFP fellowships for the academic year 2014/15 (Fellowships start: September 1, 2014). The programme is open to all disciplines. Application deadline is January 10th, 2014.
Visiting Scholars: French Scholars Lecture Series
The Consulate General of France in Vancouver has partnered with the Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies (PWIAS) at the University of British Columbia to bring leading French scholars to UBC in a program entitled the French Scholars Lecture Series, inviting outstanding academics from France, from different disciplinary and research backgrounds, to participate in open dialogue with their Canadian counterparts.

The Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies at the University of British Columbia (UBC) will host six International Research Roundtables each year for scholars from the international community and Canada to come together in the pursuit of knowledge in an interdisciplinary environment.
